Biography

During my years in the real estate industry, I’ve discovered that one of the things clients value most in a realtor is someone who is grounded in the community they serve.

I am a lifelong resident of the Lower Mainland; I was raised in South Burnaby, but have lived in several communities from Vancouver to Mission. In other words, I know the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley areas well, and appreciate that we are blessed to live in such a wonderful part of the world.

Just as importantly, I’ve been in Maple Ridge since 1985 and raised my family here… I’m proud to call it my home in every sense of the word. I’ve worked in the community, owned a small business here, and been an active volunteer, initiating local fundraising projects and getting involved with local festivals and events.

I have a reputation for integrity and professionalism in the workplace, and was honoured some time ago to receive the Four-Way Test Award from one of the local Rotary clubs. This award is given to someone who exemplifies the values of truthfulness, fairness and goodwill in their business dealings, and does business in a way that is beneficial to all concerned. It was truly an honour to receive such recognition.

I've been fortunate enough to have had a career in sales and customer service spanning more than 30 years, receiving sales awards and other acknowledgement from my previous employer. For the past decade I've been thoroughly enjoying real estate sales, and have been trained as a Certified Negotiation Expert.

Throughout the different stages of my working life, there's been one common thread...  what I enjoy most is helping people. As a REALTOR™, I get to help people find their perfect home, or to sell and move on as their needs change, assisting with some of the biggest decisions in their lives. What could be better than that?
